I'll be posting the progress on the DLC development here. As you know the writing is finished, but I still need to script it, code the battles, and some art is missing (including all the new CGs). So, I don't think will be out before Summer for sure
Anyways...

This is one of the many extra scenes that will play based on the current active romance, in this case Chalassa/Althea. The main script plays and then based on the romance there are extra lines added

Is this going to be a "small" DLC?

I have 5 hours and counting in only a single quest out of 9 in the Act, out of 4 acts in the main game. If the DLC is half a dozen quests like this one...
Admittedly, all but 30 min. of that timehas been grinding.

FEAR

Nah, this time FOR REAL. I mean the script is around 40k words and I'm not planning to add more. Is mostly focused on the story/lore/characters interactions so people who missed this in the main game can find it in the DLC. The "couple" interactions are very nice. There'll be battles but instead of many like in the main game will be less but with more mechanics.

I've also tried writing in some mechanics that AVOID fighting if you, as the player, don't want it. There's one instance where you can choose between a minigame and a battle (if the minigame's codable under Ren'Py), for example, and in another section of the game, you can play it safe or risky, depending on what you think will work, though you will have to live with the consequences.

The DLC has two big quest and the group divided in two.....
Does each group have a quest or....?
If we play as Shea, are we only going to see his side of the story or are we going to see both his and Althea's?

The point of view will alternate between the two, so in practice you control a party with Shea and another with Althea, each one with the love interests obviously, so if you're in a specific romance you'll see several extra lines.

So... only one of them has a love interest in any given game?

So far, yes - though we are thinking about allowing you to choose a love interest for the twin you didn't play in the main game and pretend that these two got together some time in the course of SotW. You would have to have unlocked that romance in any of your former playthroughs, though, or some references won't make sense to you.

Make that "several extra SCENES", please

Yes I wrote quickly

The text changes are a lot depending on your romance!

If the DLC treats both twins as the main character of their own half of the story, I would personally prefer and like that.

It's very well possible. The DLC introduces itself from Jariel's POV as he remembers the events of the winter he spent in Ninim, and Jariel tries to be an objective observer.

Rowinda MUST have her volcano! I NEED IT!
Rowinda: "And the volcano goes BOOM!"
...And everybody runs like crazy *____* I kept the entire game waiting for it to happen... A pity it didn't T__T
