As the title asks, what do you think of Nicole? As a person?



I personally really loved to play as Nicole. For me it was refreshing to see a female "rolemodel" who does not have a shy personality! It was easy for me to immerse myself in the role.



I loved how Nicole shows over and over again how it is ok to be one's self, and it is ok to make mistakes. Nicole doesn't get overwhelmed and swept away by her emotions. Instead she recognizes the feelings and takes them into account, and then chooses the best way to proceed. For me it was learning experience and a delight to read about this kind of thing right now :give_heart:



Here are some of the things I most liked about Nicole:

  • Nicole feels to me like a mentally healthy individual, with her own quirks.

    She has confidence in her own worth.

    She recognizes her feelings and knows how to deal with them.

    She is confident with her body, and also feels it is okay to look good and sexy.

    She was a strong female character, and felt nice and realistic.

    Personally what I liked most was that she did mistakes, many times (sometimes even quite stupid ones), but always moved past them and won't moan/be depressed about it :)

    Josipa is working on it. So far wrote 2 scenes for Bethany and I'm quite pleased.

    Unfortunately even if she is going at a good pace, it won't be out soon, since I wasted... almost 5 months with the previous writer ugh :? so is very likely that the yuri version will be out almost one year after the original game, which frankly pisses me off as much as you :evil:

    Now I've learned to be much more determined and whenever someone drags too much I find a replacement. Is the only way possible to avoid such things in future!

    Is all the previous yuri writer's work going to be scrapped then?

    Well, all previous your writer works was two-three scenes with Chandra :oops: I think we can keep them though and only change them slightly. But yeah, not a big amount anyway!

    Oh, ok! I thought it'd be a lot more. :shock:

    But yeah, at that rate, replacing the writer was definitely the best decision.

    This is the biggest problem with several of Jack's games. :wink:

    that is true I think i helped to derail this thread (i did not start it) and turened from a nicole topic into a we want yuri thread

    To be honest, her sense of humour was top notch. She did and said some incredibly funny and yet still endearing things that literally made me laugh out loud while playing. Her catch phrase "Oh, you suck!" comes to mind.

    She was a strong female character, and felt nice and realistic.

    Dunno. She was funny and endearing, but she made a lot of stupid choices during the game (regardless of romance path) and intentionally got herself into situations where other people had to save her. I don't think that qualifies as a "strong" character, felt more like a damsel in distress.
