Hi, I just bought Heileen 1 with the discount today and I think there might be a problem. The characters sprites almost never appear, and sometimes they appear and disappear rapidly. For example, when Marie is introduced, she flashes onto the screen for a split second and then disappears. Some characters like Black the cat don't appear at all when they're introduced. For most of the game (so far) I'm just looking at backgrounds and text.

another user had the same problem as you, and had an Intel videocard. The solution for her was to update the directX drivers. Can you try that? if you hold shift BEFORE you start the game and keep it hold down, you should see a menu before the game begins, where you can choose the renderer between OpenGL and DirectX. You can try choosing DirectX and see if works (you can switch back to OpenGL if you want anytime).
