New member posting :)

Sorry to butt in, but i couldn't get Lora's end either!

Highest I got was 75, wondering myself if anyone managed to get her.
jack1974
Ok so seems I need to fix Lora then! I assume the other one are OK? In my testing I was able to get Ebele rather easily, so I'm sure of her but not of the others.
thesleepykitten
I got everyone but Lora. So the others are fine.
jack1974
Just uploaded version 1.1a with some typos but mostly increased the relationship points you get in some scenes with Lora, so now you should be able to get her ending! Updated links in the first post :)
thesleepykitten
Not at computer so I can't test it. But basically once Lora reached 70, no scenes appeared at all. So I went 200 days without seeing any scenes. Besides professions.

Just making sure it is clarified. I never got a bad Lora end because the scene never happened.

^^v

If the update works don't mind the post.
jack1974
Well that's a bit strange since you should get the random "tavern event" where you can invite other people, so you should have been able to raise her (or anyone else) relationship with that. I'm going to check again if those events don't trigger anymore for some reason!
jack1974
Yes those events were broken  ok time to upload 1.1b I guess...!
thesleepykitten
Awesome! Thank you. Yea didn't see the tavern scenes either.

I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

If family issues don't crop up again, I might have some time this weekend, so bring on 1.1b!
jack1974
Thanks, going to check that crash now, weird one :)
jack1974
Ok that crash was just two lines fix, so I have only reuploaded the same version, also because it wasn't a big problem (you could still play a new game by quitting and starting the game again).

I found a little "bug". In Lora's last romance scene

she wears the pirate outfit during the scene, but suddenly changes into her retro costume in the CG.

ArgleBargle
Possible bug, at what point do you start being able to include others in activities? I've just recruited John but still cannot get anyone else in on the colony activities. I didn't get far into the non-sea maiden version of the game but I remember being able to do this a little bit after Lora got her new outfit, which was awhile back in game time. This could be normal though
jack1974
I changed this indeed, because some of the new job scenes wouldn't fit the story - I mean you could see an event like if is the first time you play chess with Jonathan but in reality you already saw a scene where you played chess it already with him. I guess that could still happen though and is impossible to add a check now for such plot inconsistencies due to the nature of the game, so maybe will put it back like it was before...
ArgleBargle
Haha, I literally just got to the scene where Black tells you about inviting people! Sorry for the bother; I was worried I'd get a couple hours into the save and then find out it was bugged.

I think it's fine as it is, it's only because I played an early version of the previous version that I even noticed.

That said, It might be worth putting in something like "once you've recruited everyone, you'll be able to invite them" or something. Not essential though
josipa24
... Heileen wouldn't be romantically attracted to them at first.

Yeah, this is where the problem was for me. I just went into the game with the wrong image of Heileen. I didn't play the first two games, but I knew there were some yuri options, so I guess I expected her to already be comfortable with her attraction to women. Maybe not to pursue them actively in the beginning (like you said, they're not exactly available :)), but to notice them like she notices the guys.

But I'm also very interested in playing Heileen that discovers the ladies for the first time in her life :) (and I'll definitely incorporate what Jack has said about the setting into my new headcannon).
Madance
I have a question!

During the scene where Ebele asks Heileen to help her find Robert, one of the options regarding what they should do could make the relationship with Juliet to increase, however, it just increased 2 points. Is this normal? Because when I got to the romance scene with Juliet(in which needs 90 points to conclude sucessfuly) I only got 88. Am I doing something wrong here? O_______o

Hope you all can help me with this, I'm so embaressed!
Sauzer
It was nice to see everyone entering the ship one by one and appearing on the portraits every time one by one. After playing the original standard version (before adding "Sea Maidens"), now it feels a bit strange (just my opinion).
jack1974

Yes I think that Black should say this, so people don't get confused. But I could also revert back to the "old version", will think about it :) I think there was a specific reason why I decided to change it, but now of course I don't remember it anymore

Yes sometimes you get less than 5 points in a few scenes. You should be able to reach 90 with Juliet, in your case I think it was just a bad luck! Are you playing the latest version BTW? Because in the early one the random tavern/invitation scenes weren't working, and just one of those can give you the missing 2 points. However people were able to win all romances even without those scenes, so it's definitely possible. I think it really was a bad luck in your case :)
