Also, will the DLC be stand alone like in SH, or will you need the base game to buy it.

No will be like SH of course will write it more clearly in the final version of the page just to avoid confusion, since I know there are several people who will want to play only the yuri version!

Well from my point of view it was about time is normal that some releases go smoothly and others less, but this one had quite many problems (disappearing writer, then missing artist, etc). Hopefully the final game will be fun though. I think is a very fun light-comedy game, in line with the first game (but much longer).

I went to the pre-order page. I did not see any mention of this so if I could find out. The price now is $19.90 for the Pre-Order. Is that a special discount price or is that the full retail price? Another question is the other version with the bonus content. Just want to be sure since you are asking more for that, it is not a bonus for pre-ordering, will the game available in the 2nd more pricier version be different in any way than the $19.90 version? And last is you mentioned the DLC will be standalone so if we want to play the yuri version only, there is no reason to pre-order now?

The bonus version only contains extra promo material, the one listed on the site (soundtrack in mp3, several wallpapers, etc) but the game itself will be identical. I just a way for some loyal fans to support me

And yes the yuri is stand alone so if you want that one you can just wait next year and buy the yuri only when comes out (price will be the same, however will very likely give a discount to those who also bought the otome version of the game).

I assume we'll be able to get a special edition with all the same extra content for the Yuri version when it comes out as well?

Yes of course I might even add more stuff to the bonus content file meanwhile, if people want (it will be updated also for those who already downloaded it).

I sent an early beta to the writer and some close friends/supporters and thank God I did that! there were some huge bugs (you could unlock the ending just clicking on the portraits in the gallery ).

I'm fixing some stuff, also there's a problem with the endings, and I would need some input on this: right now you have about 10 scenes with each character in which you can raise the relationship. Some scenes allow raising relationship with other love interests. Example a scene with Morgan has two choices, and one of them raises John/Jonathan/Sebastian romance too.

Now the problem is that at end of the game you need relationship >=90 to get the romance, otherwise you fail - but the scenes are played in sequence, rotating all the love interests, in a interval of 10-12 days each. Let's say you manage to reach relationship 85 with the various choices, if you have played all the scenes except the last one, you will always fail.

There are some special events in the game that increase your relationship, every X days you can invite someone at the tavern and get a small increase. So in theory if you always invite your love interests, you should make more than 90 relationship.

So I'm wondering if I should just allow until the end of the story to raise relationship 90? it might be too easy that way, but still don't want to piss off players (it's a dating sim, so shouldn't be too hard).

Maybe I'll keep the old system only in the Normal/Hard level.

Will upload the beta in a few hours so people can play and tell me if is too hard even at Normal level.

I think it's a good idea to keep it for the normal/hard level and leave the "easy" way you mentioned on the easy level but the only way to see is to play and I can't wait to get my hands on this!

I got the extra content and must say the song was lovely and so goes with how the game plays in my head.

Of course there is easy and too easy so I will let you know what I think because I don't have much time to play games as much as I like I always play the easy level so I can enjoy myself and not take too much time out of my busy life.

Also depends if you're only interested in the romances or the profession endings. The romances should be fairly easy even playing in Normal mode. The professions instead might take more effort, but still be achievable with some strategy. I'm uploading the game now, but of course the fast connection decided that was a good moment to stop working, so will take a while (the old one is 10 times slower ).

As with all games I play romance comes first profession comes second Got some things to do so may not be able to have a go until later in the week now but I will as soon as I can.

Is a .zip containing the Windows/Mac/Linux versions, once the game is officially out will make separate installers

How do I install the game using the zip file? There are no installers inside the zip file?

No, you just run the executable for your OS. You should see an icon next to the name, just double click and should work. Of course once the game is final I will have a proper installer

Quick question: If I want to buy the deluxe/premium version with the extra content, will it still be available after the pre-order stage? I may be very tempted... SO tempted that I don't want to buy it right now, since I have finals next week! *grin*
